  Our experience with Hornsby Family Cars was very positive. Colin was personable, professional and knowledgeable about the cars for sale. He didn't pressure us for a sale, but left us to make our own decision. The car was the best deal we saw in Sydney on the day. We are very happy with our car. We would not hesitate to return to Hornsby Family Cars to look for our next car.

  Just purchased our second car from Herby & Colin at Hornsby Family Cars and could not be happier. The overall service they provide is 5 stars. From the initial contact phone call through to browsing their stock and moving through the purchase process, along with the after purchase vehicle service offering they provide. The "Family" in their name is not there by mistake, they really do treat you like family. Everything is just easy not to mention the great deals and reliability they provide. I would recommend Herby & Colin to anyone looking for an affordable, reliable late model vehicle.

  A pleasant experience from inspection to pick up. Colin was honest and open in communications when I purchased a vehicle for my daughter. He even arranged a service before we collected the car and to hear my daughter say "the car is perfect" made this experience all the better. Thanks Colin, I wouldn't hesitate in returning when we next need a vehicle.

  Having seen the negative comments I have no doubt this dealership acted in a misleading and fraudulent manner to sell me a Hyundai i30. I selected to drive a red i30 SR spec (the only one in their showroom on display). A price was negotiated and accepted and the paper work signed.
  
  The following day on collection doubts arose. The i30 I had test driven had a black protective seal around the underskirt of the car. Driving home I noticed differences with the interior- no polished chrome trimmings, console, gear plate and no boot tray. I drove back and questioned the owner Herbie who replied "this is the one you drove yesterday."
  
  Unknowingly to me I firmly believe my $1k holding deposit was paid to secure a more basic model of the same colour and kms and was not the SR spec car that I test drove.
  
  To top it all off they only included I set of keys- with no battery. I have reported Hornsby Family Cars to Fair trading.

  Car was faulty no help to repair the problems costing more than car is worth.
  Do not buy from them.
  Very deceitful company.
