Walked in to a staff member removing all the menus from the tables around 4.30pm - I asked if they were closing soon as I didn't want to drink my tea feeling pressured to leave and would have been happy to go elsewhere if they were just straight up with me.. instead mumbling they insisted that they could still serve us. I asked again what time do they close? And they said 5.30pm. Thinking I had loads of time I Went up to the counter to order a drink, the response was 'so ur not ordering food? We can tell the kitchen to close now?'... way to make a customer feel welcome... after sitting down for less than 20min the staff then decided to stack all the chairs directly surrounding our table making it impossible to have a conversation. Don't see why they couldn't start with the other end of the shop. They even took the salt and pepper off our table first before touching any other table - just to make sure we knew we were inconveniencing them... completely frustrating experience. Please don't say ur open and encourage us to come in if ur going to give zero service, attitude and stack chairs all around us. I'd rather go elsewhere... and will never be going back.
